Saw a post yesterday about Gallup's poll on this question and since it was so interesting, I decided to pass it on. Note the 3 questions and the trends over 20 years. Very little change, but notice the uptick in those who believe God created humans in their present form. But don't get too excited, these polls usually have a +/-4 % accuacy. Only 15 % believe in atheistic evolution.
Many professors love to point at the fact that the more education one has, the more they are likely to believe in evolution, yet this poll indicates that only 29% of those with a post-doctorate education believe in atheist evolution while 25 % believe God created humans in their present form, a virtual tie.
The second picture shows how those who attend church overwhelmingly believe in the creation viewpoint. I find that very encouraging.
